Ever wondered how Angie keeps herself looking so young?

She let us in on her nutrition secrets. Take a look at a few days from her weekly food schedule:

Thursday

7am-warm lemon water

7:45-12oz *green tea drink (see bottom of page for ingredients added)

8am- 2 whole eggs, 1 cutie orange, 8 oz black tea

11am- kind bar and banana, 16oz. *green shake (see bottom of page)

1pm- plant based protein shake made with water

2:30pm- 1 plain  8 oz. chicken breast, with half mashed avocado, 2 Tbsp. salsa, minced garlic, and lemon juice on top.  1 slice Ezekiel toast with 1 tsp. coconut oil.

6pm- nature valley breakfast biscuit bar.  15 mini pretzel crisps with garlic hummus.

8pm- 15 asparagus spears with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.  Sweet potatoes with 1 Tbsp. coco oil,  salt and pepper.  Plant base vanilla protein shake.  1 glass red wine

10pm- 2 small York peppermint patties

Friday

7:30am- warm lemon water

7:45am- *green tea drink

8am- 2 eggs, black tea

11am- 1 apple, 1 cutie orange, kind bar

12:30pm- 6oz chicken, 1c steamed broccoli, 8 pita chips, 2oz ham, unsweetened tea, 3 medjool dates

1:45pm- 16 oz. *green shake

3:45pm- chocolate chip Clifford bar, handful goji berries

6pm- 1 cutie orange, 8 oz. *green shake

7pm- 1 glass red wine,  8 asparagus spears, 1 LG sweet potato with 1 Tbsp. coco oil, salt and pepper.  6oz tilapia cooked in olive oil, ¼ cup quinoa cooked in chicken broth.

8pm- 1 mini Kit Kat, 1 peppermint pattie

10pm- 2 handfuls honey roasted peanuts

Saturday

7:30am- lemon water

7:45am- 2 whole eggs, *green tea drink, Ezekiel toast with 1 Tbsp. coco oil, black tea

11am- *12oz green shake, kind bar, 8 oz. ginger kombucha

1:30pm- steel cut oats made with ¼ cup almond/coconut milk, handful walnuts, handful goji berries, 1 Tbsp. raw honey, 8 oz. Green shake

5pm- vanilla bean plant based protein shake, handful walnuts

8pm- ¼ cup cooked quinoa made with chicken broth, half avocado and 8 baby tomatoes with salt, pepper and lemon juice, 8 oz. pork chops grilled with olive oil.

9pm- 2 York peppermint patties

 

Daily vitamins:

1 women’s multivitamin, vitamin D3, oregano oil.

Apple cider vinegar (raw and unfiltered)- 1 or 2 shots daily.

*Green shake:

Juice- 3 apples, large cube ginger(2oz juiced), small piece turmeric root, 1 small lime, ½ lemon, 3 celery spears.

In blender: put all juice mixture, and coconut water or chilled green tea to fill up to 36 oz of liquid.  Add:  1 peeled cucumber, 2 Tbsp. hemp hearts, 1 packet orange emergency, ½ avocado, 3 handfuls of spinach and kale, ½ cooked sweet potato. 1 cup frozen mixed berries.

*Green tea drink:

12oz. Chilled green tea,  emergency packet, tsp. each of maca powder, spirulina, & chlorophyll, 2 Tbsp. Chia seeds.
