Lindsay Douglas

I discovered yoga in high school & continued in college as a complementary practice to my running routine. My practice took a backseat as my career took off and then during early motherhood. Rediscovering yoga through a friend's invitation to Sumits, I instantly fell in love again. I experienced the profound mental and physical benefits of consistent yoga practice and found it to be such a grounding force in my busy life. Inspired to share the experience and benefits of yoga with others, I completed my yoga teacher training in April 2022 with Cady here at Sumits and received my RYT-200 certification. My background in healthcare and rehabilitation brings a unique perspective to my teaching, allowing me to guide students of all levels in finding their individual paths in yoga. Outside of the studio, I can often be found chasing my two boys with a camera in hand (begging to let me take just one picture like they did when they were little), playing fetch with my beloved rescue dogs, or tackling DIY house projects with my husband.
