Join Nikki & Stephanie the Second Sunday of every month for Yin Yoga followed by Yoga Nidra. Yin Yoga is a slower-paced style of yoga where restorative poses are held for 3-5 minutes to put moderate pressure on the connective tissue of the body (joints, tendons, ligaments). The goal is to increase circulation and flexibility and allow the practitioner a change to move deeper into the pose. Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state between waking and sleeping and is one of the deepest possible states of relaxation one can be in without fully going to sleep. Yoga Nidra has even been proven to help reduce stress and anxiety.
